Party at Carlos’ Poco Loco, Uptown Toledo’s Mexi-Cuban Cantina

Adams Street doesn’t have to go far for delicious Mexican-Cuban fare now, thanks to ComLink real estate agent Michael McCarthy, who found the perfect business location for the hot, hip cantina, Carlos’ Poco Loco. The restaurant features a lunch buffet and a large bar with specialty beverages, as well as a late-night menu and live entertainment.

Carlos Mendez, owner and executive chef of the Cocina de Carlos Mexican Restaurants in Perrysburg and Waterville, was looking to establish “a great place to meet friends and entertain, enjoy dinner in the dining room, and listen to live music” somewhere closer to the heart of the city. And with ComLink’s help, he found just the place.

Toledo’s Uptown District, a vibrant entertainment area, has grown in popularity in recent years, so McCarthy knew there couldn’t be a better location for the fun, friendly nightlife atmosphere Carlos was envisioning. It’s prime commercial real estate, sitting between Toledo’s reviving downtown and the historic Old West End neighborhood.

“We’re very happy to have found this spot for Poco Loco,” McCarthy said. “Whether you’re heading into the city for a night on the town, getting dinner with the family or just grabbing lunch with your coworkers, you’ve got access to fresh, delicious food at a convenient location.”

While Poco Loco is the perfect place for Toledoans to satisfy their taco cravings, it’s also a sure sign of how the Glass City is continuing to revitalize.

“ComLink is proud to be a part of making downtown and the surrounding areas a place where Toledo’s businesses and people want to be,” McCarthy added.
